Magnetic Separator common faults and their causes( 1 ) magnetic separator machine motor overheating and its sound is not normal.
Reasons: 1 ) poor or badly worn bearing lubrication ; 2 ) fan leaves fall off or wear ; 3 ) switch line is bad, or disconnection run single phase ; 4 ) voltage is too low .
( 2 ) Magnetic Separator in operation sound is not normal, cylinder stuck by an obstacle , even the drum does not rotate , the bottom box fibrillation.
Reason: It is often stuck in the bottom box of the object , then there are magnetic blocks off, so that rattled the cylinder , cylinder serious cause skin scratched . This time should be shut down for maintenance , troubleshooting.
( 3 ) gearbox overheating
Reasons: 1 ) insufficient oil or oily bad ; 2 ) gear and worm wear off very , bad , or engagement ; 3 ) bearing lubrication bad or badly worn .
( 4 ) the magnetic field strength becomes weaker magnetic separator
Reasons: 1 ) the temperature is too high ; 2 ) sun exposure ; 3 ) acid corrosion . You can use the Gauss meter measurements. Separator from the base, under the magnetic system , the cage , the magnetic system , hollow shaft , concentrate tank , gear and other components. Stand installed in hollow bearing seat for the benchmark to measure the elevation and levelness . Lower magnetic lines positioned to stand as a benchmark. The cage and the upper and lower magnetic gap adjustment system must be accurate , the gap limit deviation for the hand 0 1mm.
