Features of spiral classifier:

The spiral classifier is featured by reasonable structure, simple installation, small footprint, easy operation, stable processing, clear sub-ore processing capacity, high-efficiency beneficiation enrichment ratio, high recovery rate, reliable operation, and the equipment has the advantages of light weight, moisture, rust, corrosion-resistant, strong adaptability, etc.

Main purpose of spiral classifier:

The spiral classifier is suitable for sorting fines iron ore, ilmenite, chromite, pyrite, zircon, rutile, monazite, phosphorus B ore, tungsten ore, tin, tantalum ore, niobium ore with size of 0.3 - 0.02 mm, as well as other non-ferrous metals with different proportion, rare metals and non-metallic mineral body. This spiral classifier has features of stable sorting process, easy control, wide changeable range of core concentration, high enrichment ratio, high recovery rate, small footprint, low water consumption, simple structure, large capacity, easy installation, easy operation, small investment, high yield and other advantages.

Working principle of spiral classifier:

Erect the spiral chute and calibrate the vertical line which is fixed on the right position with a metal frame or wood. The sand pump sends the ores to the feeding mouth on the top of the spiral classifier, add additional water, regulate ore paddle concentration, ore paddle naturally make swirl rotation from high altitude down to the surface. In the slope of the flow rate of rotation, it produces a centrifugal force of inertia. Due to the function of gravity and centrifugal force, the ore and sand are separated, the fine tailings flow into the concentrate bucket and discharged out by pipeline, then the sand pump drains away and completes the whole process of beneficiation.
